A Fall Engagement Session at Discovery Park Seattle

Stella and Jim were planning their wedding at Woodinville Lavendar Farm in Washington for the summer (check out their wedding here!), so decided to do their engagement photos in their home city in the fall, right in time to send out save the dates!

As always, I try to start out engagement sessions super casually. Most people aren’t naturally comfortable in front of the camera, and so we try to get moving! Lots of walking, talking, exploring, and interacting together how you normally would.

Engagement Photos at Discovery Park are a NO BRAINER. For photographing in the fall, it’s important to arrive earlier in the day before sunset so that the light can still be visible through the trees and not too dark! I usually start engagement photos about twoish hours before sunset.
