This INCREDIBLE destination wedding took place at the Hridaya Club Garden in the most amazing little colonial lake town of Valle de Bravo, Mexico- about 2 hours away from Mexico City. As a San Diego wedding photographer, I always welcome destination weddings at Valle de Bravo.
Many San Diego wedding vendors are happy to work destination weddings at Valle de Bravo.
Destination weddings at Valle de Bravo are always gorgeous. The Hridaya Club Garden is a beautiful wedding venue with a lush green lawn for beautiful outdoor destination wedding ceremonies. For this destination wedding ceremony, the bride wore an elegant, yet understated white gown and the groom wore a classic dark navy suit.
Luckily for me, this beautiful couple found me through from another San Diego wedding photographer friend of mine who wasn’t available. This was definitely one of my FAVORITE destination weddings this year.

While the girls got married on site at Hridaya, the boys got ready at a nearby airbnb with increeedible views of the lake.
The wedding ceremony location overlooked a gorgeous side view of Lake Avandaro. I can’t imagine a better view than Hridaya.
The florist created some INCREDIBLE (have I used that word too many times? haha!) hanging installations in the reception tent. They must have been 10-12 feet wide each.
The reception design was round tables for the guests, and a long table with garlands for the head table with the bridal party and their significant others. SO many people flew out to this destination wedding!
A local Valle De Bravo mariachi band surprised us with a visit- and the bride and groom had an intimate dance in the middle. It’s times like these where I feel so so lucky to be a wedding photographer (;
The rest of the night was spent partying away! Reception photos are the time where I get to be wild and creative. Candids ar eking in the reception, and I just get to be a fly on the wall (maybe a dancing fly on the wall?)
